Kochi Prefecture Constructors Union Yosakoi Dancing Team

Participating times: 3

They won Silver Prize. They won the prize however they are 3rd time participation.

Obiyamachusuji

Participants: 150
Participating times: 48

They won Gold Prize. They are participating into the Yosakoi festval from the first time. This year is the 400 year anniversary since Kochi castle was build. They feature down town streets. Ryoko Hirosue, a very popular Japanese actress, participated into this team.
They came to Harajuku Festival Super Yosakoi 2001, too.

Kochi Daimaru Yosakoi Team

Participants: 110
Participating times: 45

They won Dancing Spots Union Prize. The team name changed. Healing performances are still good. They attract spectators with their dance.

Kochi City Office Dancing Team

Participants: 110
Participating times: 48

Tetsuto Matsuo, the Mayor of Kochi city, is very excited. He participated into both "Kochi Senior" and City Office Team.

Droors

Participants: 150
Participating times: 5

They won Dancing Spots Union Prize. They are very young. I didn't have so strong impression about this team, but at the Harajuku Omotesando Festival Supor Yosakoi 2001 they performed very well. They fit into the air of Tokyo.

Kyomachi & Shinkyobashi "Yebisu Shibatenren"

Participants: 130
Participating times: 46

They won Silver Prize. They performed with "Business Prosperity" series again. They featured "Kappore" this year. They don't last ideas so this style continues.
They came to Harajuku Festival Super Yosakoi 2001, too.

Honiya

Participants: 150
Participating times: 11

They won Gold Prize. The music of "Honiya" is very impressive. They used paper storm that authorities outside Kochi wouldn't permit.
They came to Harajuku Festival Super Yosakoi 2001, too.

HITACHI

Participating times: 13

The corporate character is "Inspire the Next".

Yosakoi Nippon Suga Yosakoi Team

Dancing lines are rolling in spectators. This liberal style is seen only in Kochi.
